How did you and your husband meet?
I had attended SUNY Binghamton for 2 years and decided to transfer out and pursue my passion in Art. I would always make trips up to visit my friends. And one day, we met through a mutual friend.
Wedding Dress Designer & Style
I was in love with a garden styled wedding. I went for a simple and elegant lace dress with an open back. I adored the design of our back necklaces and wanted to sport one for my own wedding. It was also a must that I was able to move and dance in it freely as I'm a danceaholic. I was introduced to a Japanese wedding dress designer Tomomi Okubo by my mother and instantly fell in love. The dress had a high collar so I opted for a choker to pair with the back necklace. I did a 4 minute dance routine and danced all night with the jewelry on and everything was still picture perfect! My bridesmaids wore Jenny Yoo's dresses in Denmark Blue. I loved her dresses because they were flowy, ethereal and romantic.
Where did you tie the knot?
I've always wanted to have my wedding at the vineyard but because a lot of family members were coming to the wedding, the far distance was out of the question. We instead found a catering hall that had it’s own beautiful garden, elegant decor and delicious food. We tied the knot at the Watermill in Smithtown, Long Island.
